Why is the AI portrait taking so long?

A typical portrait takes 30–60 seconds. The Royal Couple feature (two faces in one scene) can take 3–5 minutes because the AI runs at higher quality. If a generation takes longer than 7 minutes, the request times out and your credit is refunded.

The result doesn't look like me. Can I get a refund?

AI-generated portraits depend heavily on the source photo. For best results, use a clear, well-lit, front-facing photo with no sunglasses or face covering. If a generation fails (errors out), your credit is automatically returned. For questions about a specific transaction, email yds5000kelime@gmail.com with the date and time of the purchase.

Are my photos saved on your servers?

No. Photos are forwarded to our AI provider (fal.ai) only for the duration of the transformation, then discarded. The generated portrait is saved only on your device, only if you tap "Save". See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Open the app, go to Buy Credits, and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the paywall. Apple ID-tied purchases will sync automatically.

Why does the app need camera or photo library access?

The app needs camera or photo library access to read the photo you want to transform, and add-only photo library access to save your generated portraits to your gallery. We do not access photos beyond the one you explicitly select.

I'd like to delete my data.

We do not store personal data on our servers — there are no accounts. To remove all on-device data (gallery history, saved portraits inside the app), simply uninstall Ottoman Studio.
